AMAZONA: The Mighty Woman!

Although she seems as she may have been inspired by Wonder Woman, Amazona actually predates the Amazon princess by over a year-and-a-half. Wonder what kind of comics Dr. Marston liked to read...? ;-)
Here's the one-and-only appearance of Amazona...The Mighty Woman!!

from
PLANET COMICS #3 (May 1940)
written by (as Wilson Locke)?; art by Alex Blum?, Dan Zolnerowich?

  2. Wow. I would have liked to have seen more of this lady. What a tough no nonsense type. Her stories could have been a lot of fun. I love these hardcase 40's women who even in a " Man's world" play by their own rules and god help anybody who gets in their way.

  3. Were there other stories of Amazona? I have been unable to find other stories featuring her on other Golden Age blogs.

[I read it, but didn't understand it.]
